MonsterTRAK - Job Search Agent
Challenge
Create a comprehensive and tactical plan to market MonsterTRAK, Monster.com’s unit for recruiting entry level and internship positions, more effectively within critical social networks.
Social Solution
Brand Networks provided a complete Social Networking, competitive industry, and best practices audit. This analysis led to the recommendation and creation of the Job Search Agent application (JSA) and the MonsterTRAK Fan Page within Facebook. BN conducted turnkey technical development of JSA and the Fan Page to meet complex strategic and technical requirements and full integration with Monster.com’s database.
As part of a Back to School promotion, Brand Networks teamed up with Sony Pictures Entertainment to gain access to selected career-focused movie clips from films like Superbad, Talladega Nights, and Jerry Maguire. Engagement with MonsterTRAK’s application earned tokns, which were redeemed for access to these hilarious and exclusive movie clips. Once unlocked in the Tokns powered video player, they could be viewed and shared with friends. The promotion was supported by a social media campaign targeting Facebook users who listed the specific movie titles in their profiles
Results
As of February 2009, JSA surpassed 80,000 new installs, exceeding MonsterTRAK’s expectations and making their application one of the most used within their category. Alleyinsider.com named JSA one of the “10 apps that don’t suck.”
